Sofia Pernas is a Moroccan actress born and was raised at home in Orange County. At the age of 5, she emigrated from Morocco to California. Her biggest break occurred in 2015 when she graduated with a degree from University of California San Diego. Pernas started her acting career with tiny roles in NCIS and Leverage. The Young and the Restless offered Pernas the character Marisa. The actress was cast as Catalina in Jane the Virgin after she was let go of the soap. The model with four language capabilities has been seen in the role of Hannah Rivera on The Brave since 2016, The Green Ghost in 2017 and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. On Blood & Treasure, from the year 2019 to 2020 she played Lexi Vaziri. Us Weekly confirmed in May 2020 that Pernas is engaged to her former The Young and the Restless actor Justin Hartley. The relationship began following The This Is Us star split with her wife Chrishell Stause November of this year. Pernas Hartley as well as Pernas Hartley were married secretly in the month of May 2021.
