Sofia Pernas is a Moroccan actress who was born and was raised at home in Orange County. At the age of five, she left Morocco for California. Her big break was in 2015. She graduated in 2015 with a a degree from University of California San Diego. Pernas was a popular actress who made small appearances in NCIS as well as Leverage prior to her debut in the part as Marisa in The Young and the Restless she was a well-known face on the soap opera. The actress who left the soap in 2016 landed the role as Catalina who is a regular character on Jane the Virgin. The model with four language capabilities has been seen in the role of Hannah Rivera on The Brave since 2016, The Green Ghost in 2017 as well as Secret Society of Second Born Royals.
