Anne Frances Murphy aka Annie Murphy was born on December 19th, 1986. The Canadian actress has a job in Hollywood. The main character she played was as Alexis Rose from the CBC comedy Schitt's Mill. It was the show that premiered in 2014 and finished in the year 2020. She got critically acclaimed for her performance, and won an Emmy Award. Primetime Emmy Award. Her parents were teachers. She is the daughter of two school teachers. Elmwood School was her first option in Ottawa which was where she performed in numerous stage shows. Then she enrolled in Concordia University, where her degree was theatre performance. In the Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory is where she took her acting classes. When she was 22, she relocated to Los Angeles where acting became her career. Annie Murphy began her career in 2007 by appearing on the tv crime thriller film Lethal Obsession. Annie Murphy went on to appear in smaller roles as well as additional ones in a variety of films. Certain of them have been viewed as popular such as Story of Jen which was released in 2008 Lick which was released in 2010, and another hit A Windigo Tale which was made available during the same year.
