Andrea Jeremiah
Andrea Maria Jeremiah, an Indian artist and actor, is well-known for her performance in Tamil and Malayalam films. Her first appearance as an actor was in the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam as well as her Malayalam debut with Annayum raolum. Andrea Jeremiah grew up in an Anglo-Indian home at Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Andrea's father was a Madras High Court lawyer. There is a younger sister that lives in Leuven Belgium as a research assistant. Jeremiah has a family near Chennai she graduated from National Public School before graduating from Women's Christian College. The woman has claimed that she was a nerd and wanted to be psychiatrist when she passed her 12th board exams.Andrea started playing the piano classically at the age of eight. Young Stars, a Jackson Five group that she joined at 10 years old, provided her with the foundations for singing and music. The actress was also a stage student at her school as well as appearing in various stage plays organised through The Madras Players and EVAM. She also served as the Student Senate President at Women's Christian College. Andrea began her professional career in theatre with Girish Karanad's Nagamandala. In 2006, she starred in an advertisement from Leo along with actor Shiva. She was also in the series which was broadcast on Podhigai. Her performances have been all over India. She had a short role in the finale of Kanda Naal Mudhal (2005). Gautham Menon enlisted Andrea to portray a lead character after she sang in Vettaiyaadu's Vilaiyaadu. Andrea appears as Kalyani who is a wife and mother of a man who is in love with her. Andrea was picked for the part after actresses Simran Shabana as well as Tabu were approached. It was released early in 2010. In 2011, she agreed to take on a small character in Venkatprabhu's multi-starrer Mankatha and it was came out in August 2011. In 2013, she was the first to debut in Malayalam film by appearing in Rajeeev's love story Annayum Rasoolum.
