Kari Samantha, born in 1967 is an American actor, performer and singer (born on April 28, 1967). Wuhrer first began her acting career in her teens. She was best known for her role as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders and also for her role as Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. Her family has given her three brothers. In her teens she was a nightclub performer when she escaped from her home. From the Wooster School at the age of 13, she began studying drama. Later, she attended the Tisch School of the Arts of New York University, Marymount Manhattan College at Columbia University and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London with the well-known teacher Uta Hagen, Wuhrer studied. Her birthplace was in Brookfield on the 28th of April in 1967. Her mother is an accountant for payroll, while her father, German-American, is a police officer and car salesperson. Kari is one of the three youngest children. She sang in nightclubs as teens, sneaking out of the house to sing. Kari was studying acting by the time she was just 13 years old. Her next stage of study was acting at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York University and Columbia University. Marymount Manhattan College, as well as The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in collaboration with Uta Hagen, a renowned instructor. Kari began acting when she was a teenager. Her first breakthrough was in 1987 when she played MTV Remote Control.
